A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police Scotland were called to Oxgangs Place in Edinburgh at about 08:30 following a fire at a property in the street. Insp Nigel Thacker, of Police Scotland, said: "Thankfully no one was hurt but we are obviously keen to find out how the fire started.
"No one was injured in the incident and inquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances of what happened." "Anyone who was in the area at the time or who has any information which may help with the investigation is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101."
