Boy, 17, charged over spate of shootings in Sheffield

A teenage boy has been charged over a spate of shootings in Sheffield on Monday.

A 13-year-old girl suffered minor injuries on Deerlands Close, Parson Cross.

Police were called to the estate after reports of shots on three separate roads between 21:30 BST and 23:10 BST.

The 17-year-old has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He remains in custody and is expected to appear before Sheffield's youth court later.
