A woman who died after she was hit by two taxis in Greater Manchester has been described as "highly ambitious and caring" by her family. Megan Louise Hoskins was struck in Ormskirk Road, Wigan in the early hours of Sunday and died in hospital. Her family, from Wigan, said she was "a fun-loving 20-year-old girl who lived life to the full". Officers believe she was in the road after "an altercation" with a man when she was struck. A 20-year-old man arrested on suspicion of manslaughter has been released on police bail. In a statement, her family said she aimed to become a social worker and also had plans to travel around the world with her friends. They said: "Megan had a hard life growing up, but was always smiling. Her accomplishments and her caring nature made her dad, Michael Hoskins, extremely proud of her. "She will be extremely missed by everyone that knew her and we hope that she finds peace with her mum in heaven." |
