A woman has suffered life threatening injuries and a man has also been hurt in a collision in a car park at Swansea's Morriston Hospital. A 69-year-old woman has suffered life threatening injuries and a man has also been hurt after being hit by their own vehicle in a hospital car park.
South Wales Police say the incident on Monday involved a dark grey Audi A4 near the hospital burns unit. It is believed the 79-year-old man was struck as the woman parked their Audi A4, and then she was hit after getting out to try and help him.
A police spokesman said: "As a result of this collision, the female has sustained life threatening injuries, the male sustaining lesser injuries." They are being treated at Swansea's Morriston Hospital following the incident near the hospital burns unit.
