West Bromwich Albion have signed Liverpool’s Andre Wisdom on a season-long loan. The right-back will today fly out to meet his new team-mates at the club’s pre-season training camp in Sacramento, California, after passing a medical. West Bromwich Albion have signed Liverpool’s Andre Wisdom on a season-long loan and at the same time secured their goalkeeper Ben Foster on a new four-year deal.
Wisdom, 21, becomes Albion’s sixth signing of the summer after spending last season on loan at Derby County in the Championship. The 31-year-old, who joined the Baggies permanently in 2012, also has an option for a further 12 months and is now effectively tied to the Hawthorns until 2019.
Foster has just returned from the World Cup where he won his eighth cap in the 0-0 draw with Costa Rica.
