(35 minutes later)
Nine men in Egypt jailed for life for joining mob who sexually harassed women in Cairo's Tahrir Square A court in Egypt has sentenced seven men to prison after finding them guilty of sexual assault and harassment.
More to follow. Several women were attacked by a mob in Cairo's Tahrir Square last month during celebrations after the election of President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi.
Afterwards, Mr Sisi ordered officials to enforce a new law making sexual assault a crime for the first time.
Women's rights groups have in the past accused the Egyptian authorities of failing to tackle the issue.
