More than 100 mourners have attended the funeral service of a teenager shot dead in Sheffield. The mother of a teenage boy shot dead in Sheffield embraced the hearse carrying his coffin to the funeral service, chanting, "my baby, my baby".
Jonathan Matondo, 16, was shot in the head in a park in the Burngreave area of the city on 17 October. Therese Mfuilu was joined by more than 500 mourners for the funeral of Jonathan Matondo, 16, who was shot in the head in a park in Burngreave.
A private service was held at St Catherine's Catholic Church on Burngreave Road. A burial at City Road cemetery will take place later. Led by a man carrying a photograph of Jonathan, a procession of more than 100 walked behind the hearse to the church.

Ms Mfuilu embraced the side of the hearse as it came to a stop outside the church entrance, saying "never forget" to the coffin inside.
The 500 mourners, many dressed in brightly coloured traditional dress, then followed the coffin into the church singing African songs.
Many were forced to stand outside as the building filled to capacity.
Friends and family paid emotional tributes to Jonathan during the hour-long Catholic mass.
The service ended with an African song sung by one of the mourners.
After the funeral, the teenager's body was taken for a private burial at the nearby City Road Cemetary.

Police believe others may have been involved and more than 40 detectives are still working on the investigation.
On Thursday officers put out an appeal to trace the owner of a black and white bandana found near where Jonathan was shot.
The teenager was brought to England from the Democratic Republic of Congo by his mother Therese Mfuilu when he was two years old.
After his killing, Ms Mfuilu said her son was a "good, intelligent boy" who enjoyed music, who "laughed and joked" and had many friends in the city.
