Two people have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of an 80-year-old woman whose body was found "carefully concealed" at her home. | |
West Midlands Police said Cynthia Beamond was found after a search at her house in Halesowen on Sunday. | |
Det Supt Mark Payne said it was "imperative" Mrs Beamond's car, which is missing, was traced. | |
He said the murder could be the result of a bungled burglary, or a burglary could have been staged afterwards. | |
A 23-year-old woman and 32-year-old man were arrested on Sunday. | |
Mr Payne said Mrs Beamond was "a very independent lady" who lived on her own. | |
