Jaguar Land Rover in court over Halewood death

Graham Begley, 49 from Halewood, was found trapped between two pieces of heavy machinery at the Speke Boulevard site in Halewood on 26 September 2011. The charges in the Health and Safety Executive prosecution relate to failing to ensure his safety and to properly assess the risks employees faced. The car manufacturer will reappear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on 3 July. A post-mortem examination found Mr Begley suffered severe chest and abdomen injuries. |
