A fire has broken out at a laser tag attraction in Lancashire. A large fire is being tackled at a laser tag attraction in a Lancashire seaside resort.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters were called to Mega Zone, on Marine Road West, Morecambe, at about 18:00 BST. "Contingency" crews are fighting the blaze at Mega Zone, on Marine Road West, Morecambe, because of a national strike by firefighters.
About seven fire engines are in attendance. No injuries have been reported. No one was inside the building when the fire started at 18:00 BST and no injuries have been reported, Lancashire fire service said.
Smoke from the fire has been seen miles away in other parts of the county.
BBC Radio Lancashire's Tim Padfield, who is at the scene, said hundreds of people gathered on the promenade to watch the fire.
"There's thick black smoke billowing from the Mega Zone. You can see it miles away in Lancaster", he said.
