Warrenpoint Road accident causes death of 78-year-old

A 78-year-old woman has died in a two vehicle road collision on the Warrenpoint Road in Newry.

Three other people, two men and a woman, have been taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

The accident was reported to police at about 14:15 BST and involved a silver Renault Clio and a red Ford Focus.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
