Felixstowe yacht collision: Dead woman named

The body of Bernadine Ingram, 57, from Butley, near Woodbridge, was found on Monday, near the site of the collision five miles off Felixstowe. Emergency services were called at about 13:30 BST on Sunday. A man, a woman and two dogs were on the yacht. The man and one of the dogs were rescued by the dredger's crew. The second dog has not been found. A post-mortem examination is expected to take place on Wednesday. Suffolk Police and the Marine Accident Investigation Branch are jointly investigating the collision. |
