"A Eurofighter has crashed on landing on the runway of the Moron base", a Spanish defence ministry spokeswoman told the AFP news agency. The Spanish ministry of defence named the pilot as Captain Fernando Lluna Carrascosa of the Spanish air force. He leaves behind a wife and a daughter.
