The National Union of Teachers says: "There seems to be a redefinition of 'extremism' from the secretary of state for education, and as yet lots of speculation and not a little hyperbole." Naeem Yousef, from the Oldknow Parents' Association, said parents may take legal action.
"We want to prove allegations by Ofsted are wrong," he said.
Abdul Khan - a father of two children who attend Park View - said the Trojan Horse allegations seemed to have been "blown out of all proportion".
He said: "How can this occur - how can this school go from being rated outstanding to this, in two years?
"This 'takeover' doesn't exist at all. This has been blown completely out of all proportion. It's an insult."
