A teenager has been found dead in a street in east London. A murder inquiry has been launched after teenager was found dead in a street in east London.

Police said the youth had been involved in an assault, and officers were speaking to the next of kin. Police believe the 17-year-old male youth had been assaulted, but are awaiting the results of the post-mortem examination.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said no arrests had been made so far, and a post-mortem examination would be carried out. Two youths have been arrested in connection with the murder.
Police say they know the identity of the victim but have yet to inform all of his family.
