So if he (reportedly) requests that there are "no stairs" at his hotels while on tour, then let the man enjoy a bungalow-based existence. | If you're anything like me, you get a quick kick out of reading up on the demands of the rich and famous: my first taste of this was during work experience at the much-missed The Fly magazine back in 2007, when I was sent to fetch Paul Smith from Maximo Park a Vivienne Westwood tie before a gig. This seemed outrageously glamorous to me at the time, until a few years later, when I realised that having a doctor on call all times with vitamin B12 at the ready was a somewhat greater sign of importance (also (reportedly) Prince). | |
