Woman in court over 'acid attack' on Isle of Wight

A woman has appeared in court charged with grievous bodily harm with intent after a woman was seriously burned in a suspected acid attack.

Sau Lin-Hin, 48, of Mulberry Way, Ryde, appeared earlier at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court.

She was remanded in custody and will next appear at Newport Isle of Wight Crown Court on 30 June.

A 22-year-old woman suffered "life-changing" facial injuries following the attack in Sandown, Isle of Wight.

The attack happened on Wednesday.
