Version 0 of 1.

A sixth man has appeared in court accused of conspiring to pervert the justice in connection with a trial involving Amy Winehouse's husband.

Michael Brown, 25, of Holloway, north London, was remanded in custody by Thames magistrates on Friday.

Five other men, including Winehouse's husband Blake Fielder-Civil, 25, have appeared in court on the same offence.

Mr Fielder-Civil is also due to stand trial, with co-accused Michael Brown, for the alleged assault of James King.

They are accused of attacking Mr King, the landlord of Macbeths public house in Hoxton, east London, on 20 June last year.

Prosecutors claim Mr Fielder-Civil of Canonbury, north London, attempted to bribe Mr King to withdraw the allegation and leave the country.

He is currently in custody and will appear before Snaresbrook Crown Court next Friday in connection with the charge of grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice.

Mr Brown, of Stoneleigh Terrace, and the four other men will appear at the same court on the same day.
