In a statement, his family said: "Corey was a wonderful son, boyfriend, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin.
"We are all devastated and feel as though our hearts have been ripped out.
"We appreciate the kind words and messages that have inundated his Facebook page.
"Nobody ever had a bad word to say about our Corey."
Mr Robinson's girlfriend Hollis John called him irreplaceable.
She said: "He truly was my world and I can't begin to explain how much I'm going to miss him.
"Nothing will ever take away the pain and devastation this has brought on me. I'll never forget him and his cheeky smile."
