Arrest over 'knife' disturbance in centre of Narberth

A 27-year-old man has been arrested following reports of a disturbance in Narberth in Pembrokeshire, say Dyfed-Powys Police.

Armed police were sent to the town centre on Saturday night after a number of 999 calls suggested a man may have been carrying a knife.

The man was arrested at an address in Market Square shortly after 21:30 BST.

Police said no-one was injured in the incident and a local man remains in custody at Haverfordwest.
