David Burslam, 49, was on an escorted trip to the town centre from Cheswold Park Hospital when he fled on Thursday. He was found at a hospital in Macclesfield, Cheshire, early on Friday, South Yorkshire Police said. In 2009, Burslam was given an indeterminate sentence for kidnapping a bank manager after being released from a mental health hospital in Hull. A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "He was found at around 3am today and detained. No harm had come to him, or any other person, during the time he was missing." |
