Christian Dior couture, spring 2014

Dior Couture is Properly Parisian and since the Versailles bods aren't letting Kimye have the do in their palace maybe this dollop of Frenchness will suffice? I prefer Kim when she does structured, her Met ball dress was too dishevelled for my liking and while this dress has a framework it's also warm and romantic. The black bow is simultaneously statement and classy while the neckline/hemline axis tips in favour of legs not boobs. I'd love it if she did the long haired fashion combover too. Do "fashion", not "princess", please, Kim. Please.Imogen Fox

Sofia Coppola's Alaia wedding dress (2011)

People, let's focus on what's really important here: what can this one day do for Kim's brand? The dress is an opportunity to kick on her whole unexpectedly-chic makeover. So my moodboard would focus on Sofia Coppola's custom-made Alaia wedding dress. Why? Because (a) Coppola is as-good-as Italian royalty, a good reference for a (probably) Florentine wedding (b) Alaia is as blue chip cool as fashion gets (c) Lavender would look awesome with Kim's colouring (see the silvery greys in American Vogue) and (d) that pouffy skirt plus that bottom equals BOOM.Jess Cartner-Morley

Christopher Kane (AW14)

Kim's post-Kanye look has tended towards the big French houses such as Givenchy and Celine. But a surprise curveball would be crossing the Channel and getting stuck into the best of British. Christopher Kane's mille feuille layers for autumn are part of an edgy collection but this dress, with its babydoll cut and bouncy layers, is more classic and bride-worthy. North as a flower girl in a miniature baby version would be the finishing touch.Lauren Cochrane

Erdem, spring summer 2014

Kardashian is naturally drawn to low-cut, hip-hugging, butt-enhancing outfits – preferably ones that do all three. For her second wedding to Kris Humphries she wore two dresses that did all those things, while also tapping into the traditional puffy Princess look that brides seem to gravitate towards. (Note: pictures of her first wedding to Damon Thomas are not available, but judging by her outfits at the time, one can only hope she eloped in a Juicy Couture tracksuit). Her Vera Wang days are probably behind her, and Kardashian will almost certainly wear something by Givenchy, but wouldn't this candescent Erden concoction queer the guest's pitch? All those patronising "And doesn't the bride look lovely?" comments delivered through frozen smiles. It'll never happen, but I'm hopeful that the first lady of pop culture will use her wedding day to shock and awe.Rosie Swash

Tom Ford, spring/summer 2014

Given that she wore a strapless, fit-and-flare number for her last wedding and adopted a similarly princessey look for the cover of Vogue, I'd love to see Kim try something truly unexpected this time around. Lets call this look "minimalist androgyny meets Tom Ford glamour", a self-assured choice that would speak volumes about the bride's burgeoning fashion nous - and would suggest a superhuman confidence in the face of red wine stains, too. Brave, on all counts.Hannah Marriott
