Police Scotland said that a 49-year-old man had been arrested in connection with her death. Paul Connelly, 49, from the Uddingston area, appeared in private at Hamilton Sheriff Court charged over the death.
The man is expected to appear from police custody at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Wednesday. He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
The case was committed for further examination.
