A man has been charged with raping a teenager who fell to her death from a motorway bridge just days after she was assaulted. A man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with raping a teenager who fell to her death off a bridge days after being attacked.

Jagat Mawari, 30, of Goodwood Gardens, Calmore, is due to appear at New Forest Magistrates' Court on Tuesday. She was assaulted on 30 May after a night out with friends but her parents said they felt she killed herself because police did not believe her.
Miss Clark, from Totton, Hampshire, told police she was attacked as she returned from a night out with friends. Jagat Mawari, 30, of Calmore, appeared before New Forest magistrates.
Her parents said at the time they felt their daughter had killed herself because officers had not believed her when she told them she was raped on 30 May. He was remanded in custody to appear before Bournemouth Crown Court on 11 January.
