Man denies cyber-attack on Home Office website in court
Version 0 of 1. A 44-year-old man has denied responsiblity for a cyber-attack against the Home Office website. Mark Johnson, of Josiah Wedgwood Street, Stoke-on-Trent, pleaded not guilty to a charge brought under the Computer Misuse Act at Birmingham crown court. Johnson is alleged to have encouraged or assisted in a "distributed denial of service attack'' on websites operated by the Home Office and the home secretary, Theresa May, on 15 June, 2012. Judge Mary Stacey granted Johnson unconditional bail until his trial begins on 3 November. |
