This week the veterans' mental health charity, Combat Stress has reported a 57% increase in the number of ex-military personnel needing treatment in 2013 and says the UK must prepare for more such cases. | |
We'd like to find out what effect the war has had on you, your family or the people around you. You may know someone who was involved in the conflict or perhaps you were yourself. You may live close to a UK military base, such as the town of Wootton Bassett and have joined in roadside vigils. Perhaps you have participated in Help for Heroes campaigns, and supported wounded soldiers. Or you may have grown up seeing images of war on television and in the media. | |
