Version 0 of 1.

Two Boston Marathon spectators who became symbols of courage after last year's bombing of the race teamed up to deliver a graduation speech on Saturday. Jeff Bauman and Carlos Arredondo also received honorary degrees.

Bauman lost his legs in the attack. He told graduates at Fisher College in Boston to keep moving forward and to seize the opportunities that lie ahead.

Arredondo, who helped save Bauman's life, stressed the importance of community and teamwork.

Arredondo was passing out American flags when two bombs went off near the finish line. He ran to Bauman and helped rush him to an ambulance. An Associated Press photograph captured the moment.

Bauman later helped authorities identify the suspects. Tamerlan Tsarnaev died in a firefight with police; Dzhokhar Tsarnaev now faces the death penalty if convicted.

Neither Bauman or Arredondo graduated from college. Both appeared overjoyed to receive their honorary diplomas.
