The cyclist then rode off and Gill appeared to turn to follow him, before suddenly lunging towards Mr Young and punching him in the head. | |
Mr Young immediately fell to the ground, where he lay motionless. | |

Mr Young suffered a serious head injury and later died in Southampton Hospital. |
