A woman in her 80s has died following a car crash outside Omagh, County Tyrone. An 84-year-old woman has died following a car crash outside Omagh, County Tyrone.
The two-car collision happened at about 18:00 BST on Tuesday, at the junction of Cloughfin Road and Whitebridge Road in Sixmilecross. Bridget Mullin, from the Sixmilecross area, was a passenger in one of two cars that were in collision at about 18:00 BST on Tuesday.
The woman, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, died in hospital from her injuries a short time later. It happened in Sixmilecross, at the junction of Cloughfin Road and Whitebridge Road.
A police spokesman said Cloughfin Road remained closed and appealed for witnesses to contact officers who are investigating the crash. Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.
