Police said the PCSO hurt in Tuesday's incident was responding to allegations of drug dealing in a car park opposite Plaistow library when he was injured at about 1930 GMT. | |
He was taken to hospital with injuries to his face and body and is in a serious but stable condition. | |
Police want to speak to the driver, aged in his 20s, who fled the scene after the accident, and a woman who was also in the car at the time. |
