'Ferocious' fire hits fish store
http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/rss/-/1/hi/scotland/north_east/7078022.stm Version 0 of 1. Six fire crews took several hours to get a "ferocious" blaze at a fishing industry warehouse under control. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire at Scotia Boxes, which is on Port Henry Pier in Peterhead, on Saturday afternoon. A "substantial" number of fish boxes and some vehicles were damaged at Scotia and neighbouring premises were also affected. Early estimates suggest the damage could amount to a six figure sum. |
