Youth dies in three-vehicle crash

A 17-year-old youth has been killed in an early morning road crash at Pembrey, near Burry Port in Carmarthenshire.

Dyfed-Powys Police are appealing for information about the accident on the A484 at Lando Road at around 0315 GMT on Saturday.

Officers said three vehicles were involved - a Rover 400 car, a Vauxhall Nova car and a Vauxhall Movano van.

The teenager who died was in the Vauxhall Nova. Three people in the Rover 400 received slight injuries.

The injured were taken hospital for treatment

Police are investigating the collision and are appealing for anyone with information to contact Carmarthen police station on 0845 330 2000.
