  • Michael Edward Brooks, 65, of Cross Street, Lymington, who has been charged with 17 offences: one count of indecent assault of a girl over 16; three counts of assault resulting in bodily harm; two counts of cruelty to a child; five counts of rape of a girl under 16; three counts of indecent assault of a girl under 14; one count of indecent assault of a girl under 16; and two other offences under the Sexual Offences Act 2003. He is due to appear before Southampton magistrates on Saturday.
