Royal 'blackmailer' refused bail

Ian Strachan is charged with breaking section 21 of the Theft Act 1968. It is alleged that Mr Strachan from London, made demands with menaces prior to his arrest on 11 September. The alleged victim cannot be named. Mr Strachan's counsel had told the Old Bailey the 30-year-old should be given bail on the grounds he was not guilty and had a defence. |
