Mr Justice Holland said: "Inevitably, given his age, Kasha retrieved the gun. Inevitably, he started playing with it, it makes him feel a man. Playfully, he threatens his sister with it, having no idea of gun safety. | |

The judge said Parliament had ruled mandatory jail terms for possession of illegal handguns and ammunition and for a juvenile, it is normally three years in jail. | |
But he said there were exceptional circumstances to the case and Kasha had already given himself a "lifelong punishment" by having shot his own sister dead. | |
Kasha was also given a two-year detention order for the manslaughter of his sister to run concurrently. | |
