Knowsley Village man denies murdering mother and daughter

A man from Merseyside has denied murdering a woman and her daughter who died from serious head injuries.

The bodies of Sharon Hayter, 55, and Stephanie Owen, 29, were discovered at an address on Home Farm Road, Knowsley Village, on 28 November.

William Owen, 55, from Home Farm Road, Knowsley Village, pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder at Liverpool Crown Court.

He was remanded in custody until his trial on 30 April at the same court.

It is expected to last a week.
