They initially sent four ambulances, a duty station officer and their hazardous response team. Those affected suffered runny noses, itchy eyes and discomfort after ammonia leaked through an air vent.
Six patients are at Lewisham Hospital, six are at Newham Hospital, six are at the Queen Elizabeth and a further four are being treated at the Royal London Hospital. The leak is believed to have travelled from the ice rink plant room to the outside of the arena.
London Fire Brigade sent four ambulances, a duty station officer and their hazardous response team to the south east London entertainment venue.
No members of the public were harmed and the London Fire Brigade and Health and Safety Executive are investigating.
