Search called off for loch angler

A search for a missing angler has been called off after a fishing boat sank in Loch Lomond on Saturday evening.

About 20 vessels had gone to the island to mark the end of the angling season. Many were returning when the boat sank.
An initial search actually located three people on the shore who said their boat had sunk - but rescuers quickly realised they were not the ones who had raised the alarm and that five people were still in the waters of Loch Lomond.
Sailors, who had been on the loch on Saturday, have said conditions were poor.
A land and water search had been under way since first light
