Version 0 of 1.

Up to 50 jobs could be lost at the Bangor company Thermomax.

It is understood the company - which makes solar energy equipment - is currently in talks with trade union representatives.

Thermomax went into administration in the summer due to financial problems. It is now owned by the Cavan-based building products company Kingspan.

It employs 185 people at its Northern Ireland factory and a further 85 in Cardiff, Wales.

In August, Kingspan said that it was buying the company as a going concern and intended to expand its operations.

Founded in 1980, Thermomax won a Queen's Award for Enterprise in 2001.
