Version 0 of 1.

Police are renewing their appeal for information about a murder in Glasgow's Cardonald area three years ago.

Ronald Kerr died after being found in his burning house, in Lamberton Drive, on 21 October, 2003,

Detectives have said they are anxious to bring whoever was responsible for killing the 49-year-old to justice.

They are asking members of the public to get in touch if they remember any detail, however trivial, which might shed some light on the crime.

Det Insp Frank McEwan said: "Someone may know something and, for whatever reason, they haven't come forward. This could be for a number of reasons.

"It may be that the person assumes that we already know that crucial piece of information.

"I would like to get the message across to people that they shouldn't assume what my officers know, but should come forward no matter what information they have about Ronald Kerr."

He again stressed that the case would remain open until an arrest is made.

Anyone with information is asked to contact CID officers on 0141 532 4900 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
