"All my hard work has finally paid off and I'm absolutely ecstatic," Tweddle said afterwards. "I knew that I could do the routine, it was just whether I could pull it out for that moment," she told BBC Radio Five Live.
"I went into the gym on Friday morning and did exactly the same routine as I would do that night.
"I went through first time and that brought my confidence back up again, and my coach knew that from then on she just had to keep me calm and let me get on with it.
The Liverpudian added: "All my hard work has finally paid off and I'm absolutely ecstatic.
