Town's second night of trouble

Around 20 youths gathered in the Edward Street area and petrol bombs were thrown. Three men - aged 21, 28 and 42 - were earlier charged with disorderly behaviour in relation to trouble in the County Armagh town on Saturday night. Officers liaised with community representatives to restore calm after fires were started and missiles were thrown. A PSNI spokeswoman said no-one was injured as a result of Saturday night's trouble. A 17-year-old female also arrested was released without charge pending a report. The men charged with disorderly behaviour are due to appear at Craigavon Magistrates Court on 8 November. |
