A property there was searched on Monday and items taken for scientific tests. It was the second search in two months at Ross House. Billy Hutchinson, a community worker, is a senior PUP member. The party are the UVF's political representatives.
Last month, police used a sniffer dog to search a flat there. Mr Hutchinson, a former Ulster Volunteer Force prisoner, played a key role in the organisation's announcement earlier this year that it was standing down.
That search took place after a knife was discovered behind a church mission hall on the estate. He also joined a senior UVF delegation in talks with General John de Chastelain, the head of the decommissioning body.
