A man is expected to appear in court charged with attempting to abduct two girls in Londonderry. A man has appeared in court in Londonderry charged with the attempted abduction of two girls in the city earlier this week.
Mark McInaw, 35, of no fixed address, who has a history of psychiatric illness, was remanded in custody.

The incidents happened in the Fountain area. The first at about 2010 BST on Horace Street, the second about 10 minutes later on nearby Wapping Lane. The court was told that Mr McInaw admitted being at the scene but denied the attempted abductions.
Police said that a man, aged 35, arrested on Thursday morning will appear in court on Friday. The accused was ordered to restrain himself after making an obscene verbal outburst in the dock.
A defence solicitor said his client, believed to have recently returned from England, had a history of psychiatric problems and should be examined as soon as possible.
