Youth charged over knife killing

A 17-year-old has been charged with the murder of a woman who was stabbed to death in south London.

The youth is accused of killing Carmelita Tulloch, 51, who was attacked in the street as she walked to work in Kennington on Tuesday morning.

Mrs Tulloch, who had two daughters and a granddaughter, died from a stab wound to the neck.

The youth is due to appear at Lambeth Youth Court, sitting at Balham Juvenile Court, in south London on Friday.
