Receivers for the troubled outdoor clothing retailer Nevisport said they have had two offers of interest in taking over the venture.

The chain, set up in Fort William almost 40 years ago, has closed five of its 12 stores across the UK.

Shops in Aberdeen, Aonach Mor, Aviemore, Edinburgh and Fort William are among those continuing to trade.

Blair Nimmo, of liquidators KPMG, said the next stage was to choose a preferred bidder.

He said he was hopeful of saving the company.
