Man charged over toddler's death

A man has been charged with the murder of a two-year-old boy.

The toddler was found when officers were called to a house in Thornholme Close, Beaumont Leys, Leicester, on Friday morning.

The child was pronounced dead in hospital. Tests are being carried out to find out how he died.

A 38-year-old has been accused of murder and remanded into custody. He will appear before magistrates in Leicester on Monday.
