Version 0 of 1.

Suffolk Police believe a body found in the overgrown garden at the home of Miller Redpath is that of the missing teenager.

The 18-year-old was reported missing by his mother Anastasia Miller, who last saw him on 13 August at their house in Wenhaston, near Halesworth.

Suffolk Police said it had not yet formally identified the body, but early indications showed it was Mr Redpath.

A post-mortem examination failed to establish a cause of death.

Police said further tests would be carried out, with the death still being treated as unexplained.

A spokesman said: "Further searches are taking place at the property and specialist trained officers continue to support Miller's mother at this difficult time."

Mr Redpath had not been seen since mid-August and due to concern over his well-being a formal missing person inquiry was launched last Tuesday. A body was found nine days later.

Suffolk Police has referred itself to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) because of the previous visits to the home.

A spokesman for Suffolk Police said officers first went to Mr Redpath's home in August following a "report of a crime".

They then visited at the beginning of October and a "search of the property was carried out", the spokesman said.
