A light aircraft believed to have two people on board has crashed into a field in Kent. One person has died and another was injured when a light aircraft crashed into a farm field in Kent.

There were no immediate details available regarding the conditions of those on board. A Kent Police spokeswoman said one occupant suffered fatal injuries while a second had injuries which were "not believed to be serious at this time".
A Kent Police spokeswoman said: "Two people are believed to have been on board the aircraft when it crashed but it did not come down near any housing." Emergency services were at the scene on Sunday and the Air Accidents Investigation Branch was informed.
Fire and ambulance teams were also sent to the scene. The police spokeswoman said the accident was reported by a member of the public.
No other people or property was involved, she added.
