Man stabbed at house in Bangor, County Down

A man has been stabbed several times at a house in Bangor, County Down.

A number of men forced their way into the house at Ballywalter Gardens shortly after 04:00 BST on Sunday and stabbed the man.

The victim, who is aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital where he is in a stable condition.

Police are appealing for anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
